Hola everybody,
sorry for writing in English, but no habla sufficiente Espaniol. :-) If somebody wants to translate, please do so - also please shift it, if the topic should be in another forum.
I just wanted to share with everyone this awesome Kickstarter campaign for a new, huge C64 (and PC) RPG in the line of The Bard's Tale, Ultima and others:

It is quite some money that you have to out into it, if you want to get the C64 cartridge collector's edition (the cheaper ziplock bag editions are unfortunately ll gone), but it is a unique project, and defintely worth supporting IMHO. As little as I like the idea that there are no plans for any additional carts after the campaign, I believe everybody should think twice before missing this chance!

Vaya! No me esperaba que llegaran a postear/publicitar por aquí el Unknown Realm. Si que le están dando bombo al tema. Lo llevo siguiendo desde que lo anunciaron y lo he puesto en dos ocasiones ya, creo, en La BBS. El proyecto por cierto ya está financiado y no se... a mi no me atrae como para apoyarlo..Entre otras cosas por que no se si tendría el ánimo de empezarlo XD Me da mucha pereza volver a ese estilo de RPG. Sin embargo está claro que hay gente que si lo ha apoyado y saldrá adelante seguramente.
Molaría que le dieran soporte de ratón a la versión C64.

Yo soy muy rolero, de C64 fui menos porque no había dónde comprarlos, pero "de mayor" he podido hacer la colección. Con el Amiga realmente los disfruté, uno de los que más el Bard's Tale (el 2 sobre todo)
Pues alguien está haciendo el Bard's Tale 4, claro, también han sacado otro "Grial" rolero como el Planescape, but I digress que dicen los ingleses.
Pues el Bard's Tale 4 de las narices vale $27 la copia digital más básica, y $135 la física (hay una de $65 pero sólo es la caja, ni un misero CD regrabable). Hablamos de un juego de PC, nada de cartucho de diseño nuevo como el Unknown Realm.

I am actually not much of a player, but if I play, adventures are my favourite genre. I help out in game development occasionally, e.g. by proofreading and playtesting (for example for Heroes & Cowards).
I found RPGs always interesting as well, but could rarely muster the patience to get into the usually rather complicated play mechanics - the great Starflight was an exception. This game here though makes life so much easier though (e.g. with the automapping), and has everything one could wish for in a CRPG.
I am also an avid archivist of scene stuff; in fact that made me register here - I wanted to get access to the downloads of the compo entries, to add what was missing to csdb.
I also help with preservation, so if you have any old disks you want to transfer, or you have already transferred your collection and would be willing to share, just get in touch!

Uhm, about preservation, I recommend you to visit http://ind.commodoremania.com ... the biggest DB dedicated to preserve spanish, and spanish-translated stuff about our C64 (games, manuals, magazines... anything)
