Here's a tip about my C64 game project CAPTAIN ISHTAR...The game is now complete, and has recently been submitted for approval to publisher Psytronik. Some facts about the game:- 4 separately loaded parts, plus the bonus game SPEARHEAD.- Game parts 2-4 are locked with passwords (you complete one game part to get the password to the next part, similar to the old Dinamic games).- Parts 1 and 3 are crosshair shooters (as shown in the released demo). Parts 2 and 4 are platform games with simulated gravity and a player with a jetpack. The game design took inspiration from these classic C64 titles:Flash GordonSoldier of Light (a.k.a. Xain D'Sleena)Game OverI've attached an early preview of my artwork for the game cover.
However, the C64 version is more than playable as it stands, and the developers even added dedicated C128 support, so if you are lucky enough to have a C128, or just load the .crt file in the C128 version of VICE, the 2Mhz mode is supported for blazing fast screen updates.
